Metro Jackson offers an endless supply of events throughout the year ranging from parades to shopping extravaganzas. Nationally recognized events such as the Hal and Mal's St. Paddy's Day Parade and Mistletoe Marketplace were both established to support charities throughout the area. The Mississippi Coliseum has concerts and events all year, and the Mississippi Fairground hosts the Dixie National Rodeo and the State Fair.
